Control your engine heater by app, online or SMS
How it works for app and online
You begin by registering on the website of our partner, QT Systems.

After that, you receive a confirmation e-mail with log-in information. You then choose whether you want to control your engine heater by an app or online.
App
Do you have an Android phone? Then you download the app "QT Motorvärmare" via Google Play:

Enter the information you received in your registration e-mail. Remember that your user name is the mobile number you gave when you registered. You do not need to fill in the information more than once but will instead automatically stay logged in.

You log in using the information you received in your confirmation e-mail. Remember that your user name is the mobile number you gave when you registered. You have the option of changing your password here.
Now you're ready! You can begin using the app or website. You select the engine heater your car is parked next to and then what time you want your vehicle to be heated. When you return from your journey, your car will be nice and warm for your ride home.
How it works for SMS
Pick up your car the same day you parked
Enter the time you want to leave by sending an SMS with the following text – for instance, if you are parked at electrical outlet XXXX: SWEL XXXX 1630 (don't forget the space) to number 72550.
Pick up your car on a given date
Enter the date and time when you want to leave by sending an SMS with the following text – for instance, if you are parked at electrical outlet 9999: SWEL XXXX 1630 0506 (don't forget the space) to number 72550.
1630 = desired time (4.30 p.m.) • 0506 = desired date (June 5)
If you want to change the time
Send a new SMS with a new time/date to number 72550
If you have forgotten the number of your electrical outlet
Send an SMS with the following text: SWEL ? (don't forget the space) to number 72550.
It is important that you send all SMSs from the same mobile phone number.
Parking contracts
Are you a frequent traveller? Parking places with or without engine heaters are available to rent.
At P6Â there are charging points for electric cars and rechargeable (plug-in) hybrid cars. To charge a car, a Type 2 connector is required.

Reduced mobility
Parking places for people with reduced mobility are located in the parking area P1, located closest to the terminal building. The parking places are not pre-bookable.

Frequently asked questions
When leaving the parking lot, contace customer service via the intercom at the exit and they will help let you out after checking your booking. Do not pay with the ticket you took at the entrence.
Usually about 12 months, but that may vary depending on how we set up our campaigns.
You cannot book parking if you plan to arrive at the parking lot within 1 hour.
In order for the system to reserve a space, a time must be entered for both entry and exit. You can arrive at the car park you booked up to 2 hours before the time you entered in your booking and exit up to 3 hours after the exit time you entered. You do not need to pay extra or change your booking if you stay within this timeframe.
The regular daily price for the area will be charged when you park too soon or leave too late. You will be charged when you exit the parking area.
The maximum parking time may vary by season and product but is never more than 90 days no matter whether you prebooked or not. The shortest parking time when prebooking is 24 hours. Â
No, you can’t. You pay the amount exceeding the prepaid total when you exit.
If you exceed the prebooked parking time, an additional fee up to the maximum normal hourly or daily fee is charged. You pay the additional fee using your card at the car park exit gate.
No, you will not get assigned a specific parking space. Some of our parking lots have certain parking spaces are reserved for special parking needs, and these are clearly marked with signs. Besides these spaces, you are welcome to park in any parking space.
Yes, under All car parks there is information on each car park if it is possible to charge the car in the car park.
You pay a start-up fee and for the actual kWh you charge your car with. Create your recharge account on our partner Virta's site.
Pre-book parking
No, you can also come here and select a parking space in an area where there is space available. However, special campaign prices are only available to people who have booked in advance on-line. With a booked space, you are guaranteed parking in the area you selected.

A booking confirmation has been sent to the given e-mail address.
Your booking can be cancelled at no charge up to 2 hours before your booked entry time. No money is refunded for a late cancellation or for unused parking time. You can rebook up to 2 hours before your booked entry time.
Payment
You can only pay with debit card or credit card.
At the entrance
Step 1
Parking slip: Take a slip at the barrier. Drive in and park. Keep the slip, you pay when returning at the self service machines or at the exit with a debit/credit card.
Debit/credit card: You register with your card at the barrier at the entrance. Your are then registered in the parking system.
Before exit
Step 2
Parking slip: Enter the slip in the self service machines. You pay with a debit/credit card.
Debit/credit card: If you have registered your card at the entrance you can ignore this step.
At the exit
Step 3
Parking slip: Enter the parking slip in the self service machine at the barrier. You can then exit.
Debit/credit card: Use the same card as registrated at the entrance. You enter your pin code, the parking is payed for and you can thereafter exit.

Entry and exit
This is what you do when you have pre-booked a parking space.
At the entrance
- Drive up to the entrance gate of the car park you booked
- Hold the QR code for your booking up to the QR reader at the entrance.
- Your booking is scanned and checked.
- The gate goes up.
At the exit
- Drive up to the exit gate.
- Hold the QR code for your booking up to the QR reader at the exit
- The gate goes up.
If you have booked a space, then you always have access to the parking area you booked, even if the area is full for other people who want to park.
Then you are charged the regular price for the area you parked in. So you should be very careful about checking that you are in the right parking area. Feel free to contact Customer Service using the intercom at the entrance to confirm that you have come to the parking area you booked. Then give the name of the parking area you booked a space in.
No, unused parking time is not reimbursed.
No, your booking is only made for one continuous parking. You cannot leave the parking lot and then drive back again on the same booking. Once you leave the parking lot your booking ends.

Parking for people with reduced mobility
No, people who have a parking permit for reduced mobility have an opportunity to park near the terminal.
Remember to lock your car and remove all valuables
Swedavia is not liable for any theft or damage to vehicles or property in vehicles parked in Swedavia's parking facilities.
All parking lots are checked by security guards around the clock. Furthermore, Swedvia employees move about the parking lots daily.
