Swedavia’s Annual and Sustainability Report 2024
As of 19 March, Swedavia's Annual and Sustainability Report for 2024 will be available on the company's website. The past year was characterized by increased international travel, investments in several new routes by the airlines at Arlanda and stronger operating profit in parallel with continued investments in the transition to fossil-free aviation. In 2024, passenger volume increased more than one per cent compared to 2023. This increase was driven by continued strong, growing demand for international travel.

Perfumes, home textiles, body and skin care. Luxury wellbeing brand Rituals has now joined the group of stores that will be opening their doors at Arlanda in the spring in the last section of the new Marketplace.

"Welcome to my hometown" is the immensely popular portrait gallery that has welcomed travellers to Stockholm and Sweden in the baggage halls of Terminal 2 and Terminal 5 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport for 20 years. A new jury has now been selected to oversee the concept. The jury will be tasked with refreshing and enriching the gallery with high-profile Stockholmers who have made significant contributions to the city in the areas of innovation, culture, sport, business, music, art or design.
AJet to establish Stockholm Arlanda Airport by launching a new direct route to Istanbul
AJet, formerly known as AnadoluJet, are to establish at Stockholm Arlanda Airport by launching a new direct route to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW). Starting on June 2 nd , the new route will be served daily, further enhancing the connectivity between Sweden and the Turkish city.
